VNA distributors are all authorized distributors of the Allen-Bradley line of Industrial Control and Automation products.  It is this distinction, which clearly separates us from all other competition. Even though there are other product lines for these products, Allen-Bradley is the world's leader. To be an Allen-Bradley distributor takes an intense commitment to serving the Industrial client.

We clearly define our expectations and request that each distributor meets our Quality Performance Standards.  The built in, quality centric position of each of our distributors is based on the fact that they all have to meet the strict operational commitments to be a stocking Allen-Bradley distributor.  Each distributor has to meet or exceed the requirements for the appropriate technical personnel, training facilities and inventory depth and breadth to carry the Allen-Bradley line.  It is this qualification process which truly separates one distributor from another.  This focus and commitment to the Industrial customer is what has earned Allen-Bradley the distinction of being the worlds' leader in industrial control and automation solutions.

Each distributor member of our organization represents a leadership position in their respective marketplace and is typically considered the top industrial oriented distributor in their area.

Each distributor makes tremendous investments. These market-leading distributors have the ability to attract other “best of brand” manufacturers for different product categories.  The commitments, investments, focus and quality have made the Allen-Bradley distributor “the” premier distribution model in the electrical wholesale industry.  This channel of first tier, market leaders is the core ingredient and the basis for VNA.

In order to assure that VNA distributors consistently deliver per our contract terms and conditions, we expect each supplier to meet the following quality performance metrics:

  • Every VNA distributor location must maintain its authorized status with Rockwell Automation / Allen-Bradley
  • Have a documented quality assurance/control process in place
  • Maintain the depth and breadth of inventory to service an MRO contract
  • Meet fill ratios of 95% or better on all primary stock items
  • Adhere to minimum criteria on delivery for in-stock material and defined non-stock items set forth in the contract
  • Make the investments necessary to fulfill contract obligations for consigned stock, reasonable inventory levels, and dedicated hardware and space for the technology platform
  • Provide 24 x 7 x 365 service
  • Perform value-added services to VNA specification for contract
  • Possess robust EDI capability
  • Meet the terms and conditions of their distributor agreement with VNA
  • Demonstrate experience or significant single discipline system contract experience with large MRO customers
