The VNA TCO program is based upon 5 key initiatives, which are commonly the focus for cost savings and continuous improvement efforts by industrial customers. Customers who are actively engaged with VNA distributors and the manufacturer partners who sponsor TCO programs meet and often exceed their business objectives.
Energy Savings and Power Quality
VNA's Energy savings and Power Quality programs directly drive reduction of utility expenses within the plant. Our programs entail detailed plant audits identifying retrofit opportunities using the most current technology to remove costs in power consumption and improve productivity. In addition our local manufacturers' representatives leverage their knowledge and experience with local utilities to maximize the benefits of local Utility rebate programs resulting in direct payments to the plant.
Inventory Management
VNA's Inventory Management programs provide asset reductions at the plant. Our programs entail detailed inventory audits and analysis identifying opportunities such as;
Inventory rationalization and Vendor consolidation - Resulting in SKU reduction, elimination of duplicate and of obsolete parts while increasing volume within partnering VNA manufacturers justifying future product cost reductions.
Process Improvement for procurement - Identifying economic order quantities, providing reductions for; number of purchases per line item, parts shortages, replenishment time, minimizing emergency orders, creating a "just right " inventory to support the plant needs.
Productivity and Process Improvement
VNA's Productivity and Process Improvement programs provide cost containment and savings to the plant floor by educating plant personnel on the most current products available to reduce installation time, and provide a work environment that lends to increased productivity. In addition VNA has the ability to interface our E-commerce (including EDI) technology with your plant procurement system reducing the cost of procurement by reducing or eliminating the time to execute traditional activities such as: parts search, order placement, invoice processing, receiving, returned goods, and disbursement.
Safety in the Plant
VNA's Safety programs improve safety and the work environment in the plant. Providing education for the most current local and federal standards required by organizations such as OSHA and the NFPA. Compliance provides and educated plant personnel, reduction in personal injury, property damage and cost containment in liability insurance as well as preventing potential fines imposed by governing organizations.
Training and Education in the Plant
VNA, our Channel distributors and Partnering manufacturers offer the highest level of training available to the plant. Our team of industry experts provides personnel training, training on facility performance as well as product application and specification. Our vast offering of training opportunities cover the entire electrical portfolio provided by VNA.
